Beidahu Ski Resort is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, 53 kilometers from the city center and 126 kilometers from Longjia International Airport. As one of the first batch of national AAAA-rated tourist attractions, it has been designated as a "National Sports Industry Demonstration Unit," a "National Sports Tourism Industry Demonstration Base," and a "National Ski Tourism Destination." It also served as a training base for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. The resort is not only a venue for ice and snow sports events and large-scale events—having hosted the 6th Asian Winter Games, the 8th, 9th, and 12th National Winter Games, as well as FIS Freestyle Ski World Cups and FIS Alpine Skiing competitions—but also an ideal destination for skiing enthusiasts and family vacations. Ski Paradise and Powder Snow Haven
Located in the world's golden skiing belt, Beidahu Ski Resort features a maximum vertical drop of 870 meters. Nestled in the remnants of the Changbai Mountains and surrounded by mountains on three sides, its unique topography ensures mild winters with little to no wind and a pleasant climate, with an average winter temperature of -13°C. The snow cover lasts up to 160 days, offering excellent ski runs, high-quality snow, deep snowpack, and a long ski season. Thanks to its dry, almost powdery snow, it is renowned as a "Ski Paradise and Powder Snow Haven."
The resort currently boasts 74 ski runs with a total length of 80 kilometers and a total area of 275 hectares. Among these, 2.3 million square meters are dedicated to beginner and intermediate slopes, catering to skiers of all skill levels. Equipped with 13 cable cars and 7 magic carpets, the resort has a total transport capacity of 31,000 people per hour, making it the largest ski resort in Asia.
